Both of these teams deserve great credit for producing a great game in what can only be described as terrible underfoot conditions and in truth this game should never have taken place. This was a game that could have gone anyway as the teams were so very well matched and didn't give each other an inch. When these 2 teams get to play again on a good surface I think we will be in for a treat.Well done to both teams and a special congratulations to our lads on a great effort
U12s Div3
Caherdavin Celtic B - 7
Lisnagry B - 1
As with the game before these 2 teams were asked to pay in a mud bath and great credit is due to these 2 teams. This is not right and no consideration of the safety of these 2 teams was taken into consideration. Our lads played some great stuff in these horrid conditions.Well done lads on a great result

Caherdavin Celtic A 3
Regional Utd A 2
Our lads had a great victory over Regional Utd.We started very poorly and but for some outstanding goalkeeping from Conor Flanagan we would have been in big trouble.Gradually we began to find our feet and we took the lead through Michael Linnane and 2 further goals from Matt Moloney had us cruising 3-0 up with 10 minutes left.Credit to regional who scored 2 quick fire goals and we were glad to hear the final whistle.Well done lads on a good battling victory
U14 Div 2

This was probably the worst performance this team has put together. We just never got going and were deservingly beaten by a much more committed Shelbourne. These things happen and we all know this team will bounce back as they are much better than toady
Small sided games
Well done to all of our small sided players who took part in Under 8 and Under 10s this weekend. These teams are improving all the time and the future is bright for the club
Div 3
Shelbourne B 1
Caherdavin Celtic B 3
We continued our good form and stayed very much in the shake up for this league. This was most defiantly a game of 2 halves as we struggled to get going in the first half and were one down at the break.A few changes and suddenly we were a different team as we scored 3 unanswered goals to run out winners.Wayne Kearns scored our leveler before Mark ryan produced and over head kick that totally caught out the home keeper.Kieran Foley scored a 25 yard screamer to complete the victory
