Another piece of history made in the club today as Zoe McNamara became the first female in the club to play for Ireland. She played against Athlone Under 17s in a match Ireland won 2-1 and to cap it all Zoe scored the winner
To play for your country is some achievement but to also score is unbelievable
You are a credit to your family and a truly inspirational young lady that all of our young girls and boys can look up to
We are so proud of you Zoe as must your Parents.What a journey you have been on this last 18 months.
Zoe will be in action next weekend for Ireland in the Association Cup out at UL so get out to UL and give her the support she truly deserves
